At 2 pm this afternoon I observed a gyrfalcon perched on a power pole along
US 395, between MP 35 and 36. It flew NW toward Eltopia.

In Adams County, the Trumpeter Swans remain at Linda Lake south of Othello.
Take SR 24 and a mile north of the Franklin Co. line, turn west on Yeisley a
mile.

The Common Redpoll was seen again this morning in College Place (Walla
Walla), but the Lesser Black-backed Gull was not seen. A quick look at
McNary NWR at the visitor center included one white-fronted goose.
