I was going to try to see the mystery bird today but got snowed in. My
fond hope was that it was a Wheatear.
School was closed here due to the snow so Bob Boekelheide was able to go
and check on the bird. The bird did not show today but Bob showed her a
wider variety of birds in his guides than she had in hers. She found
something wrong with all possibilities.
Bob's best guess after discussing it with her is an immature shrike. She
will call if it shows up again.
