Michelle and I did are part for nationally based
citizen science by counting for the Great Backyard
Bird Count ( http://132.236.201.29/gbbc/toc_page.html )
A very pleasant day filled with OREGON JUNCOS doing
all sorts of songs and calls including:
1. a pretty fair Rufous Hummingbird chip
2. a near perfect Orange-crowned Warbler (including the
droop at the end)
3. a less convincing Wilson's Warbler song

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
