HI:
For those following the demise of the Yellow-billed Cuckoo in western
North America might be interested in this article in the most recent issue
of WESTERN BIRDS (Vol. 31, no. 4):Status of the Yellow-billed Cuckoo in
Idaho by Daniel M. Taylor. To sum up the article:"The Yellow-billed Cuckoo
appears to be hanging on precariously in Idaho, primarily along the Snake
River in the southeastern part of the state. There are probably not more
than a few dozen pairs breeding annually in the state, and quite possibly
fewer than ten pairs."
At least Idaho still has a few!!
Sincerely
