Birded the above areas on Sat. Feb. 17th and observed the following:
*At the west end of Brady Loop Rd: At exactly 7:58 am the Red Shouldered
Hawk flew in right in where Ruth Sullivan told me it would be. In the
following :30 minutes that I watched this area I saw Peregrine Falcon, Bald
Eagle, Northern Harrier, Red Tailed Hawk and a Kestrel. Must be a great
place for breakfast!
*Midway Beach RD: As I pulled up at the end of the road, I immediately
observed shorebird activity to the SW. I set up my scope and saw about 6-7
Snowy Plovers. Also present were Sanderlings and some peeps.
*Tokeland Marina: Marbled Godwits, Whimbrels, Willets, Dowitchers
