Jack and Tweets,

The N. Vancouver Brambling was seen by me and a group of birders the morning of Feb. 20, in the back yard of 1961 Berkeley. We searched the same day for the Delta Black-headed Gull, finally locating it along Hwy. 17 between 56th and 28th, with about twenty Mew Gulls. The Stein Rd. N. Hawk Owl was seen in the usual area the same afternoon, as were 2 or 3 Snowy Owls at Big Ditch.

My wife and I will be flying into Sea-Tac early Friday morning to spend two days in the Seattle/Vancouver BC area birding, and will have a rental car. We have been following Tweeters for some time now. Any suggestions for us? We are wondering if the Brambling and the Black-headed Gull are still being seen in the Vancouver BC area. We will also be trying to find the Northern Hawk Owl, the Arctic Loon, and the Gyrfalcon, and any Snowy Owls that are still around. So any information about the above, but especially the Brambling and the Black-headed Gull will be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time and please respond personally to us at the email address below so as not to trouble the group.
