Having said how few starlings I had, I didn't knock on wood, and
literally the next day, today, STARLINGS!


Regarding suet feeders, my current one excludes starling and others.

In the past, starlings would pig out on suet feeders.
Crows would also go after the suet, leaping up from the ground
and try and knock lose some large pieces.
Occasionally the crows would attempt to hover just
below the suet feeder to get some.

Hovering crows are rather amusing.
