Went to Montlake Fill this morning hoping to see a EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED
TEAL. No luck. I searched for 2 hours. The consolation prize was a PALM
WARBLER. It was in a lone tree just north of the small pond that is totally
surrounded with trees and brush. This was at 9:00 this morning. Initially
the PAWA was with a YELLOW-RUMPED WARDLER. The YRWA left and the Palm was
alone in the tree while I watched it in the scope for 4 or 5 minutes. The
tail never stopped pumping during this time. I had seen 5 or 6 other
Yellow-rumps earlier.

At 10:30 I watched the EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL at the Edmonds Marsh.

It was a good day.
