Thursday, February 22nd, 8:10 P.M. Hi this is Stephen Mlodinow, today, Tom
Aversa and I birded Whatcom, Island and Snohomish Counties. Highlights
included: a drake COMMON TEAL at Blaine, 13 EARED GREBES at Ustalady Bay on
Camano Island, and 1 SNOWY OWL at Big Ditch Access. A brief look for the
grackle in Stanwood turned up nothing; also stopped in the morning to look
for the hawk-owl up at Stein Rd, however, the local residence?s up there us
that the bird has not been seen for 3-4 days and therefore may have left.
Thats it and good birding.

Friday, February 23rd, 3:32 P.M. This is Rachel Lawson, (206) 282-5593,
today, I saw the GREAT-TAILES GRACKLE in Stanwood. It was at it?s ooriginal
location at the corner of 102nd ave NW and 276 street NW; it was sitting on
the TV antenna of the small white house on the corner and it was singing!
That all.

Friday, February 23rd, 3:05 P.M. Hi, this is Mark Oberle; at the Montlake
Fill, the COMMON TEAL was sleeping with some ???? (message cut off)

Saturaday, February 24th, 1:23 P.M. This is Carl Haynie, (425) 837-9293,
birding in King County. At Tradition Lake, in Issaquah, near Tiger Mt,
there?s an adult TUFTED DUCK; best viewed from the trail that follows
underneath the power lines. Thats it.
