Sunday, Feb. 25th, my husband and I watched 8 Western Bluebirds on Swauk
Prairie (just outside Cle Elum). One family was fighting over a nest box with
a House Sparrow. Also in this area were Horned Larks. Red Crossbills and Mt.
Chickadees were near the cemetary. Down by theTeanaway River were Ruffed
Grouse, Red-winged Blackbirds, Cassin's Finches, American Goldfinch, House
Finch, Imm. Bald Eagle, Evening Grosbeaks, Magpies, Robins, Pine Siskins,
Ravens, and Downy Woodpecker.
