I'm a birder from Austin, TX, hoping to find a few life birds in
northwestern Washington on Sat., March 10. I would prefer to pay a guide
(fee plus expenses), because of the short length of time and the complexity
of simultaneously navigating and driving in an unfamiliar area. I'll be
staying at a hotel in downtown Seattle.

Potential Life Birds mentioned recently on Tweeters:
Tufted Duck
Northern Pygmy-Owl
Northern Hawk Owl
Bohemian Waxwing
Brambling

Someone has offered to help me with two other potential life birds,
Gyrfalcon and Snowy Owl, if they are still in the area Mar. 6. If we miss
either of them, I'd add them to my "wish list" for Sat.

I'll be in Seattle for a conference which ends Fri., 3/9, and my return
flight leaves early afternoon, Sun., 3/11, so I could bird again Sun.
morning. I was not planning to rent a car, but could, if needed.

If anyone can assist me, I'd really appreciate it. (I won't be able to
check e-mail from this Fri., 3/2-Sat, 3/3.)
