HI ALL:
According to the Seattle Times/Reuters story in today's paper a new
species of Otus was found last month by ornithologist Deepal Warakagoda.
The bird has been photographed and confirmed by outside experts. The last
new species discovered in Sri Lanka was the Ceylon Whistling-Thrush in
1868!
Sincerely
