Today (Feb 28) we had our first Western Bluebirds, a pair, come to our
house. The female came and checked out the (Bluebird) house and the male was
flying around overhead.

Nothing else noticeable except for a larger number of Woodpeckers. We've had
4 Northern (Red-shafted) Flicker, 3 Red-breasted Sapsucker, & 2 Hairy
Woodpecker all in one day. We've not had any Pileated in a while, though.
