Saw a good yardbird for Puyallup yesterday-- one of the last Y2K sightings.
A nice Townsend's warbler. First one I've seen in our yard and first one in
winter around here. This guy (looked like the "first winter" illustration in
Sibley's, but a little more streaky) was hanging out with 49 bushtit tails that
were sticking out in all directions from our suet feeder.
