I spent the morning up on the Skagit and Sammish flats today. The most
notable sighting was a dozen wild turkeys between the Sammish River bridge
and the "East Ninety" west of Edison (Delorme 109, D5). Otherwise it was
pretty quiet, several Trumpeter Swans along Chuckanut Drive, about 600
Tundra Swans along Chillberg Road east of La Conner, and 1-2,000 Snow Geese
of of Rawlins Road (Delorme 95 B5). Thankfully, the Snowy Owl is still at
Big Ditch.
