I have seen it twice since mid-December, and one other person has that I
know of. I have also missed 3 or 4 times knowing exactly where to look.
Your best bet is within an hour of sunrise or sunset. Go to Road L NE and
try Nelson Road going east. If it isn't there go north on L NE just north
of the house on the east side of the road and check the tops or next to the
wheel line movers.

This year Snowy Owls may be easier to find elsewhere. If Road L doesn't
work you might try south on Hwy 17 to Road M, then south to Roads 3-6,
heading west to Roads L and K. I haven't seen that owl this year, but it is
another traditional location.
