I found a Clark's Grebe with about 50 Western Grebes at Logboom Park in
Kenmore Friday afternoon, Jan. 5. It had a strikingly bright yellow-orange
bill, a somewhat higher brow line and paler flanks than the Westerns it was
with. The flock is larger than the 25 or so I've been seeing here since
November, so I don't know if it will stay.
