I'd never seen a Kestrel before today, but saw lots of them near Heppner,
Oregon about 45 miles south of the Columbia River, but I don't know where
they hide across the river. They are beautiful. Arrived home and found
out they are on the fleetingly popular 1 cent stamp!

Also saw a herd of 50 mule deer and a dead coyote on the side of the
road. Good day for wildlife.
