..............Just reminiscing about my recent trip to Calif. and
Sacramento NWR.
..............2 awesome sights not mentioned that will forever be etched
in my mind as indescribably beautiful:
..............(a.) The sight close-up of a large , magnificent Peregrine
Falcon perched in the sunlight on top of a power pole in Colusa NWR.
...............(b.) Observing hundreds of snow white Snow Geese on ponds
of water reflecting the flaming oranges and reds of a brilliant sunset
at Sacramento NWR.
...............(c.) A Turkey Vulture and a Red-tailed Hawk perched
side-by-side on a power pole just inches from each other.
...............(d.)The breathtaking thunder of thousands of Snow Geese
and White-fronted Geese rising in dense clouds against the backdrop of
Sutter Buttes at Grey Lodge.

...............Some experiences just can't be replaced by anything else
in this world. That's why we are "bird watchers", aren't we?????
