Hi Arthur and Tweets -

The Stanwood GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE is noticeably larger than either
Brewer's or Red-winged Blackbird. When perched on a crossarm next to
both of these species it appears to be at least twice the size of the
others (and the bulk is probably slightly more than that). The bill is
quite a bit longer, and the tail is much larger and longer. Sibley notes
that western GTGR are somewhat smaller that southern ones.
