A White Ibis is being seen at the Crawford Dairy east of Raymond. It has
been present since Monday and, according to Joan Crawford, is actively
foraging in their pasture presumably on worms and grubs. It was seen as
recently as 4 PM today.

The bird may be the same White Ibis that was seen in Newport, OR for two
days in mid-November and more recently on December 30th in Bay Center, WA
and on December 31st in Ilwaco.

Birders are welcome but should call Joan Crawford first at 360-942-5858.

Bring a scope since birders will be asked to view the ibis from the driveway
and not go into the pastures.

The address for the Crawford Dairy is 1087 State Route 6.

>From Olympia the easiest way to get there is by taking I-5 south to Chehalis
and then take State Route 6 west toward Raymond. 7 miles west of LeBam look
for the name of the dairy and number on the mailbox on the north side of the
highway.
