The latest issue (no. 14) of *Bird Conservation* is devoted to
Washington and Oregon, with feature articles on the oak woodlands
restoration project, restoration of habitats in the Blue Mountains
and the Willamette Valley, Greater Sage-Grouse management and
implications for steppe sagebrush habitat generally, Snowy Plovers
along the ocean beaches, conservation of riparian habitat, and
Oregon's coastal refuges. There are also shorter updates on the
Caspian Tern situation at the mouth of the Columbia, Diann MacRae's
Olympic Vulture Study, and other hot topics.
