Had a great day, made the trip to Stanwood by 9AM, pulled up to the feed
store, the Grackle dropped from the roof of the business across the street
and dined on a biscuit before a gull arrived, that was easy! Then decided to
go to Raymond for the White Ibis. Arrived at 12PM, pulled into the Crawford's
driveway, looked to the pasture on the right and there was the Ibis. I
noticed another birder had his scope on the Ibis, I went over to him and he
graciously offered a view, wow, it doesn't get any easier. I had so much time
left, that I decided to go to Fort Casey for the Mt. Plover. I arrived as the
tide was coming in, no shorebirds to be seen, well, I guess my luck had to
change. What a day, the weather was fantastic and I added to new birds to my
state list. Pretty good day.
