This morning while out in the driveway working on my car I heard a unusual
call from the top of the birch tree above me. Stepping back and looking up
I was able to see that it was a Pine Grosbeak giving it's soft clucking
call. Seconds later it flew showing it's very undulating finch-like flight.
New yard bird! Turned out to be a new county bird as well for me.
