To further clarify, the Bay Center bird on December 30th
*was* in sub-adult plumage like the one videotaped in OR.
So, this latest ibis is at least the second individual to visit
Washington.

I never heard what plumage the Dec 31st white ibis from
Ilwaco was in. Only that it was presumed to be the same
bird as the Bay Center bird. Anyone know?

One important note on the ibis: This is not the individual that
Owen Schmidt videotaped in Newport, OR last November!
Whereas the Newport bird was in nearly adult plumage (just
a gray smudge on the face, but otherwise clean white), the
Raymond bird is a subadult with extensive brown streaking
on the back, a grayish head and neck, and dull pink soft parts.
