To add to the directions for finding the Great-tailed Grackle. When it's
not at the feed store, try the area around the police station which is
about a block or so north-west of the feed store. This is where I found
it. It was sitting on the top of a phone pole.
Also, as far as I know those Turkeys have been in that exact field for
at least 3 weeks or more and are, I believe, not "wild" but some sort of
release program or such. Someone who knew the details send the info to
tweeters awhile back. Am I right on this? Does anyone remember the
details on this.
