Hello Tweets,

There are still a few spots available for the saturday, 1/27/01 pelagic out
of Westport, Washington.
If interested, contact Phil Anderson via e-mail: pmand at techline.com, or
telephone: (360) 268-5222.
The cost is 80 dollars.
We travel 35 Nautical miles due west from Westport to Gray's Canyon, where
we find the true pelagic birds. Its an all day trip, departing from
Westport at 6AM, contact Phil for more information.

A trip last January yielded 3 species of Albatross, including a SHY
ALBATROSS and ca. 7 LAYSAN ALBATROSS. SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATERS and CASSIN'S
AUKLETS have been encountered frequently this time of year, aswell as
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES, and NORTHERN FULMARS.
Winter pelagics are great in that you never know what might show up. Past
winter trips have included such rarities as THICK-BILLED MURRE, PARAKEET
AUKLET, HORNED PUFFIN, RED-LEGGED KITTIWAKE and SHORT-TAILED ALBATROSS.
Hope to see you on the boat!
Cheers and Good Birding
