Rob,
The red-shouldered hawk I saw at Brady Loop Rd. on Sunday, 1/14, and reported to the WOS Bird Box, (but not Tweeters) was a juvenile. I have not heard reports of any other red-shouldered in that area.

Tweets,

after reading the recent report of a Red-shouldered hawk on Brady Loop Rd.,
I thought I'd go have a look for myself. I did find a RSHA on the west end
of the loop, but the bird I saw was an immature, and if I recall the
(unsaved) post correctly, it said the bird was an adult. I'm wondering if
there are two RSHA out there, or if the report of an adult was incorrect.
Comments welcome.

A few other notes: there is not as much water in the ponds out there as in
past years, and duck numbers are pretty low. Last year there were hundreds
of Pintail, today I saw four. But there was a nice flock of swans on the
east end; about 150 Trumpeters with a few Tundras mixed in.
