Hello Tweeters,
I must correct the assumtion,that the Red-shouldered Hawk what got discovert
on Brady Loop Rd.proable be the same as the one in Nisqally Refuge.We been
seeing this bird yesterday and i noticed that this bird here is much
brighter in colour.But the light was not so good that i realy not make a
sure statement of the discovery.I went back today and watched this bird
almost for four hours.This bird is a different Hawk altogether.I have photos
of the bird in Nisqually and he seems more brown as this one in Brady Loop
Rd is more bright orange and the markings on the breast is much brighter.I
am not that much of an expert on Hawks,but this bird appears verry bright.He
Was mostly sitting in one tree ,but went down several times ,presuming for
food.It took 15 minutes before he came back to the same perch.
