Sightings for Sunday, January 21

The male HOODED ORIOLE was reported from 7620 No. 3 Road. This is the large
yellow house on the corner of No. 3 Rd. & Jones. The homeowners are allowing
birders on to the property via the gate on Jones. Due to the nervous nature
of the bird it is suggested that viewing from Jones may be advisable. The
feeders are easily viewed from the roadway on Jones. An additional feeder
which has been added near the rear of the property is easiest viewed though
the carport. If on the property the best location for viewing and not
disturbing the bird is from the small bench on the bricked area as you enter
from Jones. Remember while on the property please respect the privilege
granted to you by the homeowners.

The NORTHERN PYGMY-OWL was seen today at Maplewood CA by many birders
excluding myself who arrived 10 minutes late. The bird was on the west
trail north of the pond. Seen on the pond were 3 male RING-NECKED DUCKS.
