Hello Tweets...for the fourth day in a row I have had the pleasure of watching two adult and four juvenile Trumpeter Swans on Duck Lake in Ocean Shores, Wa. They are staying in the wider parts of the lake, putting them no closer than 200 yds from my dock on the lake (and about 1/4 mile south of North Bay Park), but with binocs I am getting a chance to see them in their stately beauty, and thoroughly enjoying it. It's a good thing I am retired and can take this time to watch them. I would imagine they will not be around on the weekend as the fishermen generally drive off most of the waterfowl, so I am just enjoying them while they are here.
