Hi Tweets,

I am not sure what happened, I must have missed an e-mail, but from what
Michelle seems to be getting across is that in general, people are so
worried about our native songbirds and wonder what is happening to them; and
find out that starlings and house sparrows are one of the many problems.....
and people say, "oh well we need to do something about these 'pests' and we
should trap them." Well, people like Michelle and me who actually do, do
something and go out and get a trap to rid of these pests get a lot of crap
if you will from many birders and other people. They say, "well it is
unethical to kill these birds!" Wait just one sec.... what do you people
think we are to do with these birds if they just come right back and peck
the heads of songbirds to death over a nest? We aren't going to "move them"
to another location. They'll do just the same thing in their new
location.... SO SNAP THEIR NECKS! I hate starlings and house sparrows becaue
they are way over populated and very agressive, the house sparrows do not
have songbird like voices, and they are very aggresive toward our native
birds who haven't evolved with these birds like the birds in Europe. Face
it, a human error was made back in the 1800's and it must be fixed. Like
Michelle said, killing a dozen or more won't make a dent in their
population. So I suggest that if you guys are going to accuse Michelle of
being "rude" then don't complain the next time you see and/or here about
bluebird trails and tree swallow trail being desolated because of house
sparrows or starlings. I personally don't like going to each house in my
neighbor hood to see cliff swallows and the alike's heades pecked to death.
So please respect what others have to say.

P.S. I probably am on the wrong subject with my luck but to me it seems that
is what your e-mails are about and I will give you my 2 cents.
