My husband and I went out to Fish Hook, WA on the 27th to find some owls.
We searched every green tree in the area and found a few pellets but no
owl.

There were thousands of Robins in the trees, on the ground and flying over
the whole time we were there. The ones flying over seemed to be going west.
I don't know where they were all going but there sure was a lot of them.
Every time we looked up there was a large flock going over. When I checked
them out with the binocs I discovered more up higher. I've never seen so
many. We were there for at least 2 hrs. and there were more and more.

On the way home at Eureka, WA we saw an adult golden eagle on a power
pole. Sat and watched him and he didn't seem to mind a bit. gorgeous
bird --BIG!
Heard a GREAT HORNED and a WESTERN SREECH OWL farther down the road . Also
saw a big porcupine.
