Hello, tweeters,
My mother and I spent some time on the Brady Loop and Schafer Boom Roads
near Montesano on Saturday 1/27. We counted 148 TRUMPETER SWANS on the
south side of the loop. They've been there for 4 days now. Intermixed with
the swans were hundreds of Canadian geese, many dusky. Three bald eagles
were perched along the Schafer Boom Road and we observed an unidentified
raptor make a vertical dive at the eagle. It was quite a show!
