There were 11 WESTERN SANDPIPER, 1 LEAST SANDPIPER and
and 2 KILLDEER with unfledged youngsters at the Lewis and
Clark Pond.

An AMERICAN BITTERN was at the Skipannon.

14 WESTERN SANDPIPER, 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS and 3 KILLDEER
were at the SJCR shorebird flats. 3 BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES
were sitting on the beach with CALIFORNIA GULLS. Shorebird
tracks that probably belonged to a small plover were also
on the upper beach in a sparse patch of Sea Rocket.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
