Thank you.

Saturday, July 7, 11:58 AM. Well this is Bill LaFramboise calling. Nancy
and I are at Langus Park near Spencer Island and there's a SNOWY EGRET
across the way feeding in the mud. Thanks. Bye.

Saturday, July 7, 11:37 PM. Hi. This is Stephen Mlodinow. Today Russell
Rogers, Dennis Duffey and I went to the Ocean Shores-Westport-Tokeland area.
At Bill's Spit in Ocean Shores there were 2 adult female BAR-TAILED GODWITS.
This was about 7 to 7:30 AM, the tide was dropping pretty rapidly. One bird
was up towards the Marina and the other bird was to the north. One was
hanging out mostly with WHIMBRELS, the other one actually with DOWITCHERS.
We were able to get both birds in view at the same time at one point.
Near Lebam, east of Raymond, we had a LAZULI BUNTING. Go east of Lebam
to Elk Prairie Road. Go south on Elk Prairie Road, take the first right.
That road goes straight for a quarter or half a mile, turn left to a
farmhouse where the road bends. Stop and listen for the bird.
Otherwise, we had about 10 BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES on the beach at Ocean
Shores. Very few BROWN PELICANS today and overall numbers of shorebirds were
quite low. Interestingly we had no MARBLED GODWITS. That's it. Good luck and
good birding.

Sunday, July 8, 2:29 PM. This is Stephen Mlodinow. Greg and Sally Toffic
and I spent a couple of hours around midday today looking for the SNOWY
EGRET in Everett. We were unable to relocate it. There certainly is a lot of
habitat around so it could still be in the vicinity somewhere. Good luck and
good birding.
