Hi folks -

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a set of twin Glaucous-winged Gull
chicks on the gravelled roof of the Natural Resources Bldg in Olympia on the
north-side Fourth Floor. The proud parents kept the precocial kids in the
shade most of the day.

The chicks are currently visible from my 5th-floor cubicle window, and it
was kind of interesting imagining myself in a seabird colony.... but without
the sounds, smells, or any other ambience.

The G-W Gull nest atop the Washington Assn. of Cities building, across the
street, has not yet hatched out.

I wonder if WDFW can get a Gull Cam set up? ;-)
