I have been walking the north side of Greenlake in hopes of seeing the Pie
Billed Grebe chicks. Today I again saw the eggs remaining in the nest on
the lilypads, with the parents in attendance. A few weeks ago I met a
friendly and experienced birder there who told me the eggs were expected to
hatch "any day". Are those eggs OK? Is this a normal thing?
