Contrats to all who have swallow babies that have fledged or about to. My
tree swallows fledged about 3-4 weeks ago. Unfortunately one died I suspect
from a damn male h. sparrow. Luckly one of the parents, Roger or Lucy got
there to kick some butt. I was in Florida when it happened or else there
would be one less male h. sparrow in this world. Five successfully fledged
as did last year I believe. I don't have my records downstairs with me. All
v-g's have fledglings flying in the air doing the food-air exchange. I think
a female sharpy caught one fledgling v-g a week ago but can't be too
positive. (I witnessed it after the sharpy had a bird in its tallons)
