Sunday, July 22, 8:54 PM. Hi. This is Stephen Mlodinow again. I left off
one other bird of some interest and that was; Dennis Duffey and I had a
juvenile RED-NECKED PHALAROPE at Crockett Lake today. So that's it. Good

Sunday, July 22, 6:25 PM. Hi. This is Stephen Mlodinow. Today Dennis
Duffey and I went to Whidbey Island and Jetty Island. At Jetty Island around
3 o'clock, at the northernmost end, the LITTLE GULL was present. You could
not see that from the mainland but you had to go out to the island. We
watched the bird for about an hour. Ed Deal, Robert Rhodes and Steve Dang
were also present.
In the morning on Whidbey Island, we had a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER at
Cultus Bay. Off Cultus Bay there were about 10,000 GULLS. Seventy % of which
or so were CALIFORNIA GULLS.
At Crockett Lake there were 500 to a 1000 WESTERNS and 8 SEMIPALMATED
SANDPIPERS. And that's about it. Good luck and good birding.
