I abandoned any decoy testing today, because there were too
many shorebirds in the way.

I arrived at about 1610hr and remained until 1700hr. There
were a fairly constant 500 or so WESTERN SANDPIPERS (high count
550) during the period. A single very conspicuous juvenile
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was also there throughout the period.
No juvenile Westerns or Least, yet.

Live birds make pretty good decoys and brought in other
species for brief stops.
