Today (7/28) I had a PECTORAL SANDPIPER on the road to the Lummi Island
Ferry. The bird was feeding with some DOWITCHERS (not sure which) and
KILLDEER in some puddles behind the Texaco Station at the SE corner of Slater
and Haxton. The birds were originally just off of Haxton, but later flew to
some more distant puddles behind the gas station. Quite a nice surprise for
a Lummi Island visit!

Good birding!
