Steve Warner saw an adult SNOWY PLOVER among many other
shorebirds at the Necannicum Estuary (Gearhart side)
Saturday evening. There are good numbers of shorebirds
using Stanley Lake in Seaside as well, including about
75 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS.

The fall passerine migration is cranking up. Roving
groups of warblers (mostly WILSON'S WARBLERS) and flycatchers
can be found along the riparian fringes at Astoria mitigation
bank, the Lewis and Clark River and the willows at parking
lot C, SJCR.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
