While I am generally loathe to send out virus warnings....

Over the last several days I have received no fewer then 6
attachments from various addresses. There is usually some
snippet of non-sequitor text along with an attachment that
has a .pif, .doc.pif or .exe suffix.

These are probably morphs of W32.Magistr.24876 at mm which is
detectable with an upadate virus scan software.

I recommend that everybody update their virus scanning
software and run it. You've got 30 days before the worm
starts taking apart your hard drive.
