I spent an hour and a half at the Necannicum Estuary this
morning during the high tide. There were SEMIPALMATED
PLOVERS everywhere. About 10-15% of LEAST SANDPIPERS
are juveniles. I also saw the first GREAT EGRET of the
fall migration.

There are even more SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS at Stanley Lake
(my best guess was about 250) along with a SHORT-BILLED
DOWITCHER, KILLDEER and small peeps.
