Hello all!

I live in Puyallup and have a small group of about 5 crows that visit my
yard a few times a week. The question that I have from this is that 3 of
these crows have strange tumor-like growths on their heads and/or bill. I
had never seen this before and quite frankly am worried. One of the crows
has a large tumor on the lower portion of the bill with about 3 other tumors
around the left eye. The other two have multiple tumors around the eyes.
What would cause these tumors.....is there an environmental threat in the
area or is this simply a natural occurrence? I am a first year birder (I
used to be just a casual observer) and am not sure about what should be done
or if anyone should be notified? Thanks in advance for any input and
advice.
