Necanicum River Estuary, Clatsop County, Oregon
July 31, 2001, 1000-1130hr

Things were a bit slower at the Necanicum today probably
due to the presence of the resident BALD EAGLE pair sitting
on the south flats.

I found 1 juvenile WESTERN SANDPIPER and an adult in nearly
complete basic plumage among there more ragged transitional
Westerns.

Least Sandpiper 12
