Greetings,

Today, June 4, I went to see the male Northern Parula at the Ozette Ranger
Station in Clallam County. I found the bird easily. It was singing from the
Red Alders and Sitka Spruces right around the ranger station building.
Thanks to Scott Gremel for finding this really neat bird and to Bob
Boekelheide for putting the info on Tweeters.

And on the way back, as I was heading east on SR 112, at Bishop Rd east of
Joyce, I looked up and saw a buteo that didn't look quite right for a
red-tail. Got out of the truck and soaring only 150 feet overhead was an
adult Broad-winged Hawk. Very nice look for about a minute. Yipee!!

Good Birding,
Dave Beaudette
