At about 7 p.m. we were out in the yard and happened to look straight up, to
see a Peregrine Falcon circling higher and higher, then heading off to the
south in rapid flight. It was in heavy wing and tail molt, presumably an
immature. Very exciting, as the second Peregrine sighting from our yard in
10 years.
