Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report.
This report was made Thursday June 7. If you have anything to add call

On May 31 a WILSON'S PLOVER was found on remote Tenmile Estuary in
northern Coos County. It was not relocated.

Two COMMON MOORHENS were found May 27 at a marsh near Krumbo Reservoir in
Malheur NWR. A bright male SUMMER TANAGER was seen that day at nearby
Benson Pond. Both birds were still being seen June 2.

ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS were seen during the week at Camp Sherman, Port
orford, Florence, and Lincoln City.

Hundreds of BORWN PELICANS were moving north off Brookings June 6. That
day a NIGHTHAWK was seen in Brookings. Two HEERMANN'S GULLS were on the
North Spit of Coos Bay June 4. Twenty BLACK SWIFTS were over the spit
June 2 and one was at Bandon June 4.

A female BLACK-CHINNED HUMMINGBIRD was at Seaside June 3. On June 2 a
HEERMANN'S GULL and 44 BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES were at the South Jetty of
the Columbia River. A ROCK WREN and a LAPLAND LONGSPUR were there the
next day.

Six GREAT EGRETS, 3 BLACK-NECKED STILTS, and 6 BLACK TERNS were at
Ridgefield NWR June 2. The nesting pair of EASTERN KINGBIRDS, RED-EYED
VIREOS, and CHATS were reported during the week at the Sandy River Delta
near Troutdale. A late GREATER YELLOWLEGS was at Jackson Bottom in
Hillsboro June 6.

A GREATER YELLOWLEGS, an AVOCET, 2 BLACK-NECKED STILTS, some BLACK TERNS,
and at least 26 WHITE PELICANS are still at Fern Ridge Reservoir.

The pair of REDSTARTS are now back at Squawback Road Crossing at Indian
Fork Creek north of Sisters. A male COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD was reported
there June 3.

Six RED-NECKED PHALAROPES were at Chickahominy Reservoir June 3. Late
GREATER YELLOWLEGS were near Diamond May 28. A pair of GREATER SCAUP were
south of Burns May 29.
